Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It has almost all of the best f-words: family, food, and football. And a parade! And the official kick-off of holiday shopping! And more food! What’s not to love?
Here are three great ways to help you and yours celebrate your Thanksgiving holiday:
Thanksgiving Decorations - What better way to welcome your guests to the feast than by decorating the place with the very items they will be eating. Everybody loves that.
This Whimsical Rustic Style Iron Welcome Thanksgiving says “welcome” in a whimsical, rustic, iron sort of way. And it reminds everyone what is on the menu. Mmm, turkey decor.
Thanksgiving Attire - Sure, a pair of slacks and a sports coat is a nice touch, but family will accept you no matter what you wear. In fact, they are obligated to do so. Why not abuse that?
While a real Horn of Plenty, aka, Cornucopia is a nice touch on any Thanksgiving table, to show people you really mean it, consider having one stamped on your underwear (Women’s Boy Brief Underwear Thanksgiving ). It’s perfect for relaxing on the sofa while watching the game, plus the lack of pants means you won’t have to loosen anything after the big meal. If you are cooking, please consider an apron — gravy splashes. Mmm, gravy.
Thanksgiving Pie - The turkey gets all the glory, but everyone knows that it’s the assorted pies of Thanksgiving that keeps them coming back for more. For the record, pie goes equally well with wine or coffee. I prefer both.
Pie? Check. Pecans? Check. Bourbon? Check. I do believe that’s everything. This Decadent Bourbon Pecan Pie is what I’m talking about — and your guests will too. Mmm, bourbon.
There you have it, America, three great steps to building a perfect Thanksgiving. And here’s a bonus, once football is over don’t waste your day watching a dog show (what’s that all about?), throw A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on the TV and enjoy a classic with the entire family.
