From Angry Birds Pork Rinds to Free Unicorn Rides

April 1. You either love today or loathe it. If you’re a journalist, chances are you hate it because on April Fool’s Day it is nigh impossible to tell what news is legit and what’s a prank. Same goes if you’re a shopper. And while we know these are all April Fool’s jokes, doesn’t mean we still wouldn’t buy ‘em!

Here’s a look at some of our favorite fake products currently being promoted today!

ThinkGeek is a fantastic store full of fun, geeky products. But April Fool’s Day is theirs to own. Every year for the past few years, they’ve come up with some ingenious products that are both hilarious and a touch of “huh, they really SHOULD make that.” Here’s a peek at our favorites from this year.

Angry Birds Pork Rinds

How could this product NOT get made?!? Take the two biggest fads hitting the U.S. consumer market (Angry Birds and Pork Rinds) and slap ‘em together. You’ve got two great tastes that taste great together!

The Original Shirt Plate

They had us at Cheetos. But this genius invention makes being a couch potato even easier!

Playmobil Apple Store Playset

The best part is that you can “Use your own real iPhone 4 as the screen behind Steve Jobs in the Keynote Theater”

SniqueAway is a private sale travel experience, that offers some luxurious and unique accommodations at discounted rates throughout the year.

Vacation in Con Nuri Eleganza

Think Disneyland’s fun? Bahamas a paradise? Check out Con Nuri Eleganza where you can ride unicorns into a sunset, while watching double rainbows painted across the sky. It’s a truly magical place full of mermaids, loch ness monsters, fairies and more. And a bargain at only 99 cents per night!

Toshiba sells some great electronics like TVs, DVDs, laptops and more. Today they take the 3D experience to a new eye-opening level.

Toshiba Spectacle 3D

Who wouldn’t want to “experience one-eyed 3D so real, you’d think you were using both eyes”?

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled today for more pranky goodness, and updating this post as we find things! Let us know in the comments below if you see anything we missed!
