Holiday Gift Guide: 8 Great Gifts for Kids

With holiday shopping season kicking off, you may quickly find yourself overwhelmed. Between figuring out which sales and deals are the best of the bunch, and actually putting a list together of what items to buy, your head is most likely spinning. To help ease your suffering, we’re putting together a number of Holiday Gift Guides. This time around we’re looking at those little angels: your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews and so on. Here’s a list of 8 Great Gifts for Kids this holiday season.

Nerf N-Strike Stampede Blaster
The ultimate Nerf gun comes with a real sight, a built-in bipod for aiming, a shield to protect against enemy Nerf projectiles, and a clip that can hold 18 darts!

Fisher Price iXL
Fisher-Price joins the hand-held educational system! This PDA-looking handheld teaches reading, phonic, writing and more, but also works as a note pad, and art studio and mp3 player.

Lego Board Games
First you build it, then you get to play it! Lego’s new games range from Minotaurus, where you build a labyrinth then players try to escape from it, to games based on Star Wars, Harry Potter and Toy Story.

Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster
It’s a remote-control Bigfoot that stands over 14 inches tall. He walks, flips and belches. I don’t thing anything else needs be said.

Mattel Sing-A-Ma-Jigs
We’ve already discussed how these little guys are probably going to be this holiday season’s new Tickle Me Elmos. They’re cute, they make cute sounds, and when you get them close to other Sing-a-Ma-Jigs, they actually harmonize with each other!

Kung Zhu Pets
Last year’s big hit from Cepia returns with a more boy-oriented product. These are action hamsters, which come in “special forces” and “ninja” styles, and kids can customize them with armor to fight in a battle arena (sold separately).

Justin Bieber Dolls
These dolls aren’t due to be released until December 4th, but you can bet when they are, they’ll be flying off shelves. Some of the dolls play 30-seconds clips of his songs, some are wearing “fashions” of some sort, and there’s even a Justin Beiber teddy bear (or is that a Teddy Beiber?).

Playskool Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur
This amazing animatronic triceratops is a pricey gift, but it stands over three feet tall, and is so big kids can actually ride it! Kota responds to both sounds and touch, and even play a few games. We’re thinking of buying two and having races in the office every Thursday.
