I admit snacks are nice when I’m writing away on a busy work. After all, they definitely keep me sane. Sure – I need to be healthier, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have a snack now and again, right?
Some of my favorite snacks are somewhat healthy, so I don’t feel that guilty, but since I have a sweet tooth most of the time I’m in big trouble. So to help myself feel better I thought I would share my favorite snacky items with you. Maybe you have the same snack attacks that I have or maybe you’ll introduce me to something healthier I’d like to eat.
Anyway, here are some yummy treats that I want you to meet:
I love chocolate covered gummy bears. I love the way they melt in your mouth and the combination of the chocolate and the fruity flavored gummy bears are divine. Yes please. They are super delicious and my most favorite snack ever. When I have a lot of work to do or I need a reward for a job well done I usually find some chocolate covered gummy bears. I’ve never tried this brand in particular, but all chocolate covered gummy bears are good to me!
popchips – $33.23
Why get 1 bag when you can get 12 bags? Buy plenty of popchips from Walmart and you’ll see what I mean about these delicious chips. As opposed to Doritos and Cheddar and Sour Cream chips (two of my personal favorites by the way), these are much healthier and still taste great. Popchips are all natural, never baked, and never friend. They’re also popped and with the perfect amount of salt, they taste great. If I remember correctly a small bag is only around 130 calories. Not bad, huh?
The original potato chips are my favorite because they are salty and extremely tasty. Even though other flavors are available, such as barbecue, sour cream and onion, and more, the original remain my favorite. However, definitely check out the other flavors because they are all good.
Yummy! If I haven’t had lunch yet or I need a snack before heading to the gym (yes I go to the gym because I have to offset all of this food), ha ha, I grab a granola bar. Quaker granola bars are my favorite because their flavor is out of this world and with the granola they are super tasty.
Whole grain oats should be a part of your everyday diet, and if you are a chocoholic like me then why not add some chocolate kisses to the grain oats? That’s why I think Quaker is brilliant. Oats and chocolate are perfect together and mostly healthy. If you haven’t tried Quaker bars before you definitely should! For even more chocolate there’s also the Chewy Dipps – which I haven’t tried before but I’m sure they are good.
There are several more snacks that I like, such as strawberry Twizzlers, Milky Way bars, and Pepperidge Farm goldfish (cheddar blast preferably), but the three snacks listed above are my favorites. And of course when I’m being healthy there’s always a banana, apple, a nice glass of Almond milk, or water too that works as a healthy snack. Oh and did I mention sushi?! It’s not a snack but it’s my favorite meal and boy is it good! I bet you’re hungry now.
