JoeShopping wrote the blog post Put Your Best Face Forward (10 hours ago)

I'm just going to go ahead and admit it: I am a little bit obsessive when it comes to taking care of my face. My husband would probably say a LOT obsessive. I can't help it, though. It feels SO good to have a clean, fresh face...and a face that is (mostly) acne free! I try to avoid touching my face during the day, especially if my hands aren't clean. I work in a hospital, so I definitely don't want those germs on my face. I wash my face every morning and every night before bed. My...

DaveB
DaveB Great post! My wife's been using that ProActiv stuff for a while now and sings its praises. I don't like to touch it because it's too damn expensive! Maybe I'll try your suggestions... thanks! (10 hours ago)

oceandreams Megan I use Neutrogena wipes too - they are the best. Sometimes I use Oil of Olay as well, which I think I prefer over Neutrogena just because I'm a create of habit. I need to try the astringent though - that would be good to get rid of the dirt. I really like Kiehl's facial scrub - use it every other day during my shower! (22 minutes ago)

JoeShopping wrote the blog post Spend Some Time Pampering Yourself This Valentine's Day (February 14 at 11:17am)

This official JoeShopping Blog post was written by Featured Blogger MackeyMadness. Today is the day: Happy Valentine's Day! My favorite color is pink, so any holiday that revolves around it is one that leaves me feeling pretty giddy inside. Plus, all the hearts, chocolate and candy everywhere put me in a good mood, too. We usually celebrate by going out to dinner, but this year we are staying in and cooking a "pink and red" dinner.  I know that some people say it's silly to...

JoeShopping wrote the blog post Pretty in Pink Fashion (February 17 at 2:15pm)

Victoria's Secret has an entire clothing line dedicated to it. Molly Ringwald starred in a pretty movie about it. Why, there's even a singer named after the color. We're talking pink. And there are just so many wonderfully pinkalicious fashions out there, it makes us all warm and fuzzy inside. Here's a look at some of our favorites:    Victoria's Secret Pink Cut-off Hoodie $44.50 at VictoriasSecret.com Whether you're lounging around the house or throwing it on to run errands,...

Jill
Jill What's my favorite pink to wear? All of it! ;) Pink is my favorite color. It's such a fun, girly color to wear, I just love it! Actually, now that I think about it, my fingers, toes, and t-shirt are all pink right now! (February 17 at 3:18pm)

JoeShopping wrote the blog post Kids Week at the Intrepid or My Day With Chewbacca (Yesterday at 11:08am)

Me and my new BFF!

Yesterday was Presidents' Day, my new favorite holiday. And in keeping with American traditions of honoring people by not working, most schools are off this entire week. So my wife and I celebrated by taking our two boys to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum down in Manhattan. This former aircraft carrier is now a full-fledged museum. You can learn the history of this great ship, as well as take a tour of the command center and even walk through a real...

DaveB My JoeShopping Sesame Street characters arrived yesterday! We went to dinner at Pizzaria Uno (Tuesday is kids night there!) and I brought the package with me. Just when the kids were getting antsy waiting for their food, I brought out the unopened package!'

The kids were amazed that something had arrived from Hong Kong. They opened it and played with the little figures all through dinner.

Review: Neutrogena Rainbath Shower & Shave Body Wash

Cleans well, smells wonderful

This awesome body wash from Neutrogena lathers well, rinses cleanly and leaves my skin feeling silky and moisturized. And it has the most amazing scent - a bit fruity/spicy but clean and fresh at the same time. I also like the pump bottle which makes it easy to use in the shower - no more fumbling to pick up a bottle with wet hands.

Review: Revere Copper Bottom Teakettle

Well-made and looks nice

I love this kettle and have been using it for a long time. The copper bottom contrasting with the stainless steel and black handle combine to make for a very attractive kitchen item. Plus, it works great and has a loud, easily-heard whistle.

Review: TOPS Perforated Junior Legal Pads, 5 x 8, Canary, 50 Sheet Pads, 12/Pack

My go-to pads

These are just like regular legal pads only smaller in a smaller size, 5 x 8. I like them because they don't take up a lot of room on my desk or table. The paper is good quality, they tear off cleanly and the cardboard back is super sturdy. They also come in a variety of colors.

Review: Eucerin Cream, 4 Ounce Jar

Cures winter dryness

I used to lather this on my face every night. I ran out and haven't gotten more. It's really thick and great for the dry winters. It doesn't feel sticky and feels rather breathable. I say it works!

Review: Pet Gear Happy Trails Stroller - Cobalt Blue - Crates & Carriers

The best invention ever!

I have senior doggies with heart conditions and bad arthritis so this product is amazing! I love being able to walk them without worrying about them. They love the stroller too. I use it for the 4 mile breast cancer walk we do every year and basically on any occassion to keep them safe also from crowded areas. I love the storage space on the bottom and there's a tray on the handle to put keys... more

Review: Revere Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl Set

Excellent bowls

I'm a big fan of stainless steel because it's easy to clean and doesn't absorb orders, plus it looks much better than plastic. These high quality bowls from Revere are reasonably priced and even better they come with plastic covers!

Review: Green Irish Tweed by Creed Millesime Spray

Expensive but smells fantastic!

This is my husband's #1 favorite fragrance and it's my favorite for him as well. It's a sporty scent with woodsy undertones yet it still smells fresh and clean. And it has excellent staying power. I like that it doesn't give me a headache which often happens with many fragrances. Unfortunately, it's far too expensive to be used as a daily fragrance - for that he uses Davidoff's Cool Water. But... more

Review: Cuisinart Silicone Spatula - CTG-04-SP

Excellent cooking tool

This is a great spatula. The soft-grip handle is comfortable and easy to hold and it's heat-resistant to 550 degrees, which makes it excellent for cooking foods like pudding which need to be stirred and scraped constantly to prevent scorching.
