When I did a general search for "Only the Lonely", it brought up 45 results. None of these seemed to be what I was looking for so in the 'Search Within Results' field I typed "John Candy". This yielded more results (168 of them) than the original search and they didn't match my original search phrase, rather they showed items like an Uncle Buck Movie Poster which had nothing to do with 'Only The Lonely'.
Hey Dogsrock!
Are you sure you didn't use the "Search 30m+ products" field? It's a little confusing since it's now at the top-left on a search results page, which is where the "Search Within" field used to be.
The "Search Within" field is now below the Black Friday and Holiday Gift Guide modules on the left on a Search Results page.
I'm trying to duplicate the bug but I just can't seem to.
When I search for "only the lonely" I get 85 results:
http://www.joeshopping.com/search/?action=products &searchbox=1&keyWords=only+the+lonely
Then when I Search Within for "john candy" I get 4 results:
http://www.joeshopping.com/search/?action=products &oldKeywords=only+the+lonely&perPage=20&am p;view=grid&isSearchWithin=true&searchbox= 4&keyWords=john+candy
But when I search for "john candy" in the main search, I get 254 results:
http://www.joeshopping.com/search/?action=products &searchbox=1&keyWords=john+candy
When I search for "only the lonely" I get 85 results, same as you. But when I Search Within for "John Candy" (and I used the quotes), I get 167 results: http://www.joeshopping.com/search/?action=products &oldKeywords=&perPage=20&view=grid& ;isSearchWithin=true&searchbox=4&keyWords= %22john+candy%22
Did you omit the quotes when you did the Search Within? If I don't use the quotes around John Candy, then I get 4 results.
