I knew I should have made more time to rack up those JoePoints! I'm feverishly working so please leave one for me! That is if I don't win the random giveaway, or the blogging contest, or possibley another giveaway. Now I could of course just purchase one for $199, however my plan is to give this to my son. I'm not sure he will LOVE it and he doesn't want it as a gift so I really don't want to spend the money. So for the past month I have been trying to win one. He says he would like to have...
Just had to share, I'm so proud of my son he is doing so well in guitar. I love to see him enjoy something as much as he enjoys his guitar. Not sure if I can get a video in this editor so here is the link! http://youtu.be/uV9YHANO5j8
A couple months ago the kids and I encountered an experience that would have been better handled by their father. My son called me up and told me there was a spark in the oven. Not knowing what he meant but hearing the anxiety in his voice I asked him some questions. Of course when you think of spark, you think fire, and then naturally water. So I told him to throw some water on the spark. It did absolutely nothing. I then told him to go get the neighbor, thankfully we are friendly with...
Nothing can make you smile more then your children. The other day I said to my daughter… Me: “I love you!” Honey: “I love you too!” Me: “I love you more” Honey: “I love you infinity….(very wide eyed and loud) AND BEYOND!!!!!”
10. You get winded from knocking on the door. 9. You have to have another kid chew the candy for you. 8. You ask for high fiber candy only. 7. When someone drops a candy bar in your bag, you lose your balance and fall over. 6. People say, “Great Keith Richards mask!” and you’re not wearing a mask. 5. When the door opens you yell, “Trick or…” and can’t remember the rest. 4. By the end of the night, you have a bag full of restraining orders. 3. You...
I usually start on my Halloween costumes in September however as the kids grew older they decided homemade costumes was not the “cool” thing. So for the last couple of years it has been off to the store to pick out costumes. I must admit I miss making costumes. I have a great post with my Homemade Costumes if you care to wallow with me in my grief of costumes past. Last year Honey had a hard time decided on her costume and she went back and forth between a cheerleader...
I haven't been around in forever it seems I'm pulled in several directions these days. However I'm SOOOO Excited about the Real Steel movie I had to come share and try to get everyone hyped up to go see it. Wondering what the kids would think: Check out my most recent post: Kids View of Real Steel Are you wondering should I spend the price of a movie ticket to see this movie? Is fighting robots my cup of tea? Will I be able to sit through this movie? Is it full of action or slow? Does the...
There was a debate on the radio the other day regarding who is more important Mother's or Fathers? SERIOUISLY??!! I couldn't believe a dejay would pose such a question, I guess to get the debate kicking. My opinion, and I am not usually very open about my opinions, is that one is not more important then the other. They are equalling important. I hope that you honored your father and husbands on this special day. Our Father's Day Fun Saturday Honey and I made a Father’s Day...
Kids can be so cute sometimes, when I get a chance I try to post about it under "Kids Say the Cutest...". I posted this, this past week and thought I would share here because it makes me smile. Preface: My daughter is nicked named Honey Sunday was Father’s Day, or at least I thought it was Father’s Day. I was working on the computer trying to get a few things done when Honey came up and asked me to get her another cupcake. I told her give me one second as I needed...
Two post in one day, now that I got that out in Things Are Looking Up on to Swim Suit Fever! Living in South Florida a swim suit or two, or three, or ten is a must have. I mean who wants to show up at a party with the same swim suit as the weekend before...(like I go to pool parties LOL). Actually it is my men that need new suits (and that doesn't mean us girls can't shop as well). Once my hubby comes home today with news of his new job (positive vibes) we will get to plan our...
