Went searching over the internet for Valentine's Day recipes and here's what I've come up with: penne pasta served with sauce and heart-shaped meatballs and for dessert, chocolate brownie cherry hearts topped with whipped cream & a cherry!

Finally was able to hop on here tonight. Well, I didn't make spaghetti last night...saved it for tonight. I did make Creamy Burrito Casserole though. All that talk about Mexican food must have persuaded me.

What did you decide to make? Subway is doing $5 footlongs all months and my daughter wanted to try Subway, so that's where we went for dinner. Ham on wheat with lots of veggies. nom!

I think it'll be spaghetti with meat sauce (using ground turkey, of course!).

For something different, make the spaghetti with meat sauce, mix the two in a casserole dish, then cover with pepperoni slices and cheese, bake until gold and bubbly, and you've got SPAGHETTI PIZZA CASSEROLE!

Well, I finally got around to doing some shoveling. Because of the large amount of snow, I stopped after making a wide path on my deck and will go back out tomorrow to make a path from the deck to the gate.

Well, unfortunately, it won't get any warmer for a few days. We're supposed to be in the deep freeze over the next couple of days with wind chill readings as low as 25 below...brrr!!!! Then, more snow on the way. :(

Looking outside at a HUGE amount of snow! Trying to gear myself up to go outside and start shoveling tunnels from my front door to the gate. Right now, though, my cup of hot coffee is more appealing!

Spent the morning/afternoon grocery shopping so we can be all stocked up and ready for the blizzard that's expected to hit our area tomorrow afternoon through Wednesday. We could get over 2 feet of snow!!! I want to go back down to Florida already...spring, where are you?

Just finished eating dinner. Made an Italian dinner with mini patties using lean ground turkey, served over Dreamfields rotini pasta and green beans. Very yummy (so my hubby says).

Getting ready to exercise on the treadmill with my iPod Nano. I told my hubby that I promise to take it slow (I have an arthritic knee and can't really overdo it or else the pain will kick my butt!).

Threw some pork tenderloins in the slow cooker earlier & am preparing to make a rice pilaf as a side dish. Smells good...better taste as good as its aroma!
